The Founders
Our Story
In 2016, Solace co-founder Jeremy’s mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She was an accomplished radiologist, yet even with her deep understanding of medicine, she was overwhelmed with challenges like finding clinical trials, seeking second opinions, and weighing complex treatment decisions.
Her experience revealed a larger truth: interacting with the healthcare system is challenging for everyone, regardless of background. Most people simply aren’t equipped with the knowledge to manage every decision and obstacle that comes with a diagnosis.
Solace advocates aren’t just guides. They’re doers who work on your behalf to find the right providers, make the calls and appointments, and communicate across the board so you’re not left to figure out the healthcare system on your own.
